1001: Third Dwarf War begins (considered by some Sages to be no more than a flaring up again of hostilities in the Second Dwarf War, which had never really ended).

1177: Pact of Kingship agreed by the Dwarves, whereby the King of the Hill Dwarves acknowledges the King of the Mountain Dwarves as King of All the Dwarves, and swears fealty to him.  (The Gnomes are not consulted.)  The Dwarf Wars end.

11 XI: Fall of Ralania, following assassination of the rebel leader, Calan, by Valdrean adventurer teams. Firanor orders the city razed to the ground. The surviving population are enslaved to rebuild the war-torn Province.
12 XI: Battle of Meldiron: Tindral of Gytrasan and Hugran of Tarm defeat Krell McAndar's invading Badlander clans in a pyrrhic victory. McAndar escapes. SARAN hands the Lost Sword Cumarel to the Men of Heaven in reward for their role in the war, and authorises them to found a new Noble House.
13 & 14 XI: Battle of Kariz: Harrek and Tirrek defeat Glersh the Dread's Evil horde invading the Kingdom of the North in another pyrrhic victory. Glersh escapes.
1 XII: Foundation of the Valdrean Noble House of Heaven at Investiture Ceremony and Championship Tourament at Temple of SARAN on Earth, Valdran. Terrorist attack foiled.
13 XII: Plague spreads to the Kingdom of the North, Elves and Dwarves, carried by teleporting Planists. Quarantines imposed in Bjarmigen and other towns. Winter: Plague finally defeated by strict quarantines and mass curing by Temples. The Overworld, and especially the West and North face widespread famine after the recent upheavals. Appearance of the Harbingers of Change.
13 XIII: The Dark Time begins in Rockholme: Sun fails to come up, city is isolated in a grey nothingness, riots begin and undead invade the streets. Alocar rallies the mobs against the undead. A number of plague-stricken villages in the Western Empire disappear. Glersh and his crazed antidruidical followers despoil the sacred heart of the North West Forest: beginning of the Dark Forest. Foundation of New Heaven, on a separate Plane, by the Gods of Good: opposed by MIORA, G/L Goddess of Reconstruction, and KOROS.
11 XIV: The Men of Heaven, led by Kyarlin Champion of Heaven and Alador of Team Phoenix restore the Balance to the World. New Heaven materialises on Earth, at the TPE and Memorial Park, Bjarmigen. Ending of the Dark Time in Rockholme: Zergal agrees to permit worship of the former Gods of Heaven in Rockholme, and the foundation of a Temple of SARAN. A more tolerant attitude to the worship of the Evil Lawful Gods also now prevails in the Empire, especially in the West, though it remains technically illegal to be Evil.

3 III: Mission sponsored by the Higher Powers reaches the heart of the Dark Forest, defeats Glersh and restores the North West Forest, bringing a belated Spring to the World.
1 VI: Harrek leads Northern army out of Grinen against the Evil outposts in the far North West.
3 VII: Harrek occupies the abandoned camp at Tarost in the Garf valley.
22 VII: Harrek defeats the retreating orcs.

7 XIII: Rumoured appearance of Glersh the Dread and Tomec the Terrible in Bjarmigen, and that goings on in the Northern Wilderness are a trap for Harrek.
14 XIII: Evils raze and loose undead upon Dúold in the West of the Kingdom of the North, after a diversionary attack in the East.
15 XIII: Evil attack upon Fobren in Garf Lea is driven off. Kingdom of the North appeal for adventurers and Planists to counter the Evil raids.
21 XIII: Evil raid in force upon Island of Opil defeated: Evils rumoured to include Glersh and Tomec, plus Men of Hell and Evil Druids known as the Hawk and the Raven.
24 XIII: Kyarlin of Heaven Duels Arril of Tarm for the Lion Throne of Valdrea. Arril wins the Duel in a protracted contest of fighting, with both saving against Spells. Arril is generally considered to have been lucky, but Kyarlin does not rechallenge immediately. Evil surprise attack upon Good adventurer camp in Garf Lea is driven off.
          5 XIV: Evil attack overruns Yrskin, in the Vale of Lystrin on the Desolate Coast.

9 XIV: Evil attack on Ômorin, NNE of Castle Aptal in Kingdom of North driven off by Goods.
16 XIV: Defenders of the Kingdom of the North take the offensive against the Evils.  The threat is over by the end of the Year.

15 I: Battle to break Dwarvish Siege of Heaven ends in stalemate.
6 II: Resurgence of Wolf Cult in Northern Kyr.
19 II: Krell McAndar elected Warlord of the Badlander Clans at Horning Crags and leads ten Clans against the Valdrean Empire.
7 III: Wolf, the "True Messiah" of the Wolf Cult, and Bera the White Lady snatch baby Prince Kargax, the Kyrian heir from Castle Gorreth.  Rewards offered.
10 III: King Zorgar of Kyr and Harrek of Grinen ride from Gorreth to suppress the Wolf Cult,
17 III: Good/Lawful offensive opens in the Dungeons against the approaches to Hell.
18 III: Battle of the Vartan Pass in Kyr is indecisive, but Zorgar and Harrrek cross the mountains into Northern Kyr the following day.

6 V: Much wolf and werewolf activity at the Full Moon: rumours they are infected by Chaos.
10 V: Emperor Arril I of Tarm defeats a challenge from Rendor, Champion of Satril, in a controversial Duel.
11 V: Emperor Arril I of Tarm and Kyarlin, Champion of Heaven, draw in a Duel for the Lion Throne.  Arril remains in office as incumbent.
13 V: Badlander army starts ChaosWalking between the woods of Valdrea, moving from Greenwoods to Three Rivers Province in the SE.  Something very Chaotic is rumoured to have happened in the Dungeons, possibly involving the Pirates: the adventurer Forts mounted an expedition to the Altar of Toorm to investigate.
20 V: Panic in the Empire as the Badlander raiders move to Southern Plains Province.
6 VI: At the next Full Moon the wolves join the attacks out of Valdrean forests.  Reports of the Return of the White Stag to the North West Forest.
7 VI: Martial Law declared in the Valdrean Empire.

21 IV: Fighting breaks out over the watchtowers in the high passes of the Broken Teeth mountains that divide the lands of Underworld Trikāf and Harrig between Dwarf pioneer units and the Army of the Most Unholy Inquisition of ALTIS in Harrig.
25 IV: Great Goblin, Ral-Ksarg lays siege to Port Daruo
3 V: Combined Fleets of Kuntax, the Southern Cities and the Valdrean freelance adventurers defeat the Goblin galley fleet in a series of naval battles. Most of the goblins disappear into the jungle.
8 V: Massacre of Tumunbizar, a Hill Dwarf village in the foothills of the Kum-Valga in Flerrig, by orcish raiders.  WAGREN-worshipping Gnomes are initially blamed.
9 V: Dwarves take second mithril mine in Dungeons and unconfirmed rumours circulate of their taking mines in the Broken Teeth mountains of Trikāf.  Mithril prices in Underworld rise steeply, whilst prices in the Overworld are only maintained by the Dwarf King's price-fixing.
13 V: Gnomish rioting in Flerrig worsens.
14 V: Armies of Harrig secure the passes through the Broken Teeth Mountains after three bitterly-fought battles against the Dwarves
23 V: Attack by Evil and Chaotic rebel gnomes on the Bairguba prisoner camp in Flerrig, where prisoners rounded up by the Dwarves were being held, results in mass breakout.
25 V: Liberation of the Jungle Ports of Habawi and Kambo.  Dwarves open Cleaving Axe offensive in the Dungeons towards the Gates of Hell.  Dwarvish and E/L orcish forces in the Broken Teeth Mountains of Trikāf threaten the Mountains of Hell themselves, where an army of dwarves, orcs, gnomes with Creeping Death and Angels of SARAN are viciously assaulted and massacred by Six Armed STRAMMASCH, Demigoddess of Violence, Her Devils and werewolves.
7 VI: Dwarvish and E/L orcish invasion of Trikāf defeated, survivors mopped up.
8 VI: Evil raids upon Flerrig target Camp Amá, Bairguba prison camp and Keragund stronghold of the Shining Caves.  Bairguba destroyed and Shining Caves desecrated.
9 VI: Valdrean adventurers fight goblins and local tribesmen up River Daruo.
10 VI: HALKI claims the Axe of Dválin is no longer in Hell, and that anyone who can find it in the Dungeons and overcome the traps and guardians may keep it.  Desertions increase amongst Dwarven units.  Some Hill Dwarves mutiny.
10 VII: Skirmishes between elvish cavalry and Evil mercenaries in the Zarq Valley South West of Zarmator
11 VII: Dwarvish attack on Gates of Hell begins
14 VII: Dwarvish Army attacking Hell in the Dungeons attacked in rear by Imperial Orcish Army of the Greater Orcish Empire brought in by Teleportal.  Further Hellish / Imperial forces attack Dwarves' lines of communications and feint towards Heaven.  Dwarvish rear collapses, but elite forces in vanguard continue their assault on Hell.
17 VII: Dwarves break into the Seventh Circle of Hell. Dwarf King Dválin slays THE BALROG KING, but is himself killed. Dwarven Paladins attack into Inner Circle towards High Temple of HAERIM, but are stopped by Hellish force led by BARRL, SKARZ and STRAMMASCH. Crown Prince Dáin (now King of All Dwarves) orders fighting withdrawal back to Teleportal points and mithril mines, but is himself killed defending the retreat, and his brothers Thráin (now himself King) and Náin take command. Dwarves under siege beneath Hell.
26 VII: End of War in the Dungeons. King Thráin returns to Gabilkhazâd-Dûm to secure his realm and summons Hill Dwarf King and leading Gnomic Elders to swear fealty. Náin takes command of Dwarf Hold to oversee redeployment of Army from the Dungeons to defence of Heaven and Dwarf Hold and back to Mountains of the Dwarves to help restore order. Imperial Orcish Army of Greater Orcish Empire mounts various operations in the Dungeons to obstruct Prince Náin and slaughter as many Dwarves as possible before withdrawing. Recapture of Hellish mithril mines. Mithril prices stabilise. Freelance bands of Dwarves, Orcs and humans from Fort Venture still hunt for the Axe of Dválin or for rumoured mithril caches. Bounties offered by Hell, including for General Thorgrim Bloodwaster, Gnomes of the Tunnel Rats responsible for the Creeping Death, and the wargrider Captain Darion (branded a traitor and deserter by STRAMMASCH).
26 VIII: Second Full Moon in month.  Star falls upon town of Kövik on NW coast of Kyr, most of 4,000 population killed or possessed by Chaos - TERRIK Troublemakers blamed.
1 IX: Outbreak of Chaos in Kyr led by Chaos-Werewolves from Kövik under Radino. Valdreans and Dwarves deploy Paladins to Kyr.
3 IX: Chaotic riots in Hapral, Tumunzahar and Bjarmigen.
4 IX: Prince Náin and Field Marshal Thorgrim Bloodwaster wipe out Chaotics in Vergaz on Kyr.

3 XII: Dorin, younger brother of Borin, swears fealty to Mountain Dwarf King Thráin and is crowned as Hill Dwarf King.  Borin declared traitor and outlaw and a bounty of 10,000 Mithril Pieces is placed on his head.
10 XII: Cold Ghosts attack Gaprillîki, taking village of Kro.  Refugees flee upriver.  Hidden Grove holds out in NE Forest, defended by Holy Garnet of KOROS.
1 XIII: Aldalië use Walking Wood and Gateway of the Trees to move Hidden Grove to new site in Upper Gaprill Valley.
6 XIII: Adventurers and KOROS Clerics with Holy Garnet defend village of Mind in Gaprillîki from Cold Ghost attacks. Orcs raid Goblin City of Gûl-Vlersch.
8 XIII: High Elven Guardians of Sacred Grove at Waters’ Meeting foil Evil attempt to contaminate Source of River Caladuin.

17 XIII: Refugees from Gaprill valley evacuated by Teleportal to Zill.  NE Forest and Gaprillîki abandoned to snow and Cold Ghosts.
18 XIII: Co-ordinator of Provincial Government organises fact-finding missions to investigate increased rumours of werewolves, vampires and suchlike in Valdrean countryside.
25 XIII: Orc-Goblin War grinds to halt with onset of Winter.  Lord Protector Harrek issues call for adventurer volunteers to fight goblin raiders of Kingdom of North.
4 XIV: Surprise Evil attack on Duel in Arena at Valdran between Emperor Arril I of Tarm and challenger Arador of Carrilon, who are both Ghosted.  Infant Arril II becomes Emperor.  Hugran, Champion of Tarm becomes Regent.  Martial Law imposed in Valdran to counter expected Ghost threat, but expected attack does not happen.  Cold Ghosts attack Zill in Gaprillîki.
