RATATOSKR will decide the Difficulty of the Nutty Quest, based on His knowledge of what the Caster intends.

Notes:

  1. Nutty Quests are at the heart of the Creed of RATATOSKR, the Unbeatable God of Squirrels.  They demonstrate His Power and the cleverness of His Followers.  Squirrel Cultists voluntarily go on Nutty Quests, assigned by Priests of RATAKOSKR, by RATAKOSKR Himself in Commune, or just decided upon themselves.  However this Spell may be used to compel others to perform Nutty Quests for the Caster(s).  It is permissible to Cast it on other Squirrel Cultists and/or to use it to delegate one's own Nutty Quest.
  2. Nutty Quest targets all Persons and Higher Powers with a Living Mind within Radius.
  3. Specify the Nutty Quest to be performed by Targets in Good/Chaotic (or any other language known to Caster(s)) after Casting.  Specifying the Nutty Quest is not part of Casting the Spell (so Caster(s) may dodge in Combat,)
  4. Compels Targets who fail their sts to go together on the Nutty Quest specified by Caster(s) for the glory of RATATOSKR.  The Quest must be appropriate for a Nutty Quest of RATATOSKR.  It may be impossible, in which case it will be classified as "Really Difficult".  If RATATOSKR considers the specified Quest insufficiently Nutty, all Casters must make a modified st against it instead of Target, and if failed a Caster suffers the Effect of the Spell.
  5. Targets must proceed with the Nutty Quest immediately, but may do so in character consistent with RATATOSKR's Creed.  For example they should not fight Caster(s) and their party to clear the way to proceed with the Nutty Quest., as RATATOSKR is Good
  6. Any attempt to deviate from the Nutty Quest requires a further st (with BTS modfied by ST Mod and amount failed first st by (as above)).  If the st is failed, Target is mentally compelled to proceed with the Nutty Quest even more quickly, regardless of personal risk.
  7. Each Target may make a further st every 24 hours as per 5. above, wiith the above consequences of failure.
  8. If Target successfully completes the Nutty Quest, the Spell Effect terminates, and RATATOSKR may award them 90% of the Clerical Credit shown in the table above (shared between them as He may allocate) and the remaining 10% of that Clerical Credit to the Caster(s) (shared equally betwen them).
  9. On the expiry of Duration, the Targets are released from the compulsion to fulfill the Nutty Quest, but may continue it voluntarily (and earn the Credit) if they so decide.
