Notes:

  1. Used against ambulatory / animated Vegetables: e.g ones attacking with branches, fruit or spores or consuming members of the Caster’s party.
  2. Targets only living Vegetables.  If more Vegetables are within Radius than Number Affected, select targets in the following order of priority (i) ambulatory / animated ones (ii) those highest on the Scale of Life (iii) randomly (iv) those partly within Radius.
  3. A Vegetable n% within the Radius has an n% chance of being targeted.  Such Vegetables will only be selected if less Vegetables than Number Affected are wholly within Radius, and priority in selection is then given to those more within Radius.
  4. All Vegetables Held are frozen in place in their present postures (They may fall down / over if unbalanced.), but retain their link to their Forest.  Held vegetables are still sufficiently supple to allow those being consumed by them to escape or be pulled out.  Their poisons and digestive acids will still function.
  5. The effect remains if the Caster goes beyond the Range.
