Materials: a skull (preferably with a hole drilled in its back).  Rat's skulls are good for this.  If Caster is a Cultist / Shaman of a particular animal, its skull should be used.

Actions: blow through skull, and the Mists come out of its mouth (NB it's important to blow through the back or neck of the skull!)

Notes:

1. Creates a light Mist within Radius for Duration.  The Readers of the Pattern version creates an intensely cold Mist.
2. Targets all living Beings within Radius, other than creatures of Nature.  Has no effect upon the Undead (except the Readers of the Pattern version will freeze, but not kill, corporeal Undead).  Will target Druids, but not Beings Shapechanged into Animal or Plant form.
3. A Being n% within the Radius has an n% chance of being targeted.
4. A Being that is within the Radius must make a st for every sec in which it is so.
5. Against the Readers of the Pattern version (only) each -1 of Cold Resistance gives BTS -10% and -6 / 100% Cold Resistance prevents the Spell having any effect.
6. Any target failing its st is dead.  The Readers of the Pattern version also freezes the target solid.
7. No concentration is required to maintain the Mist if an extended Duration is specified.  It cannot be dismissed before the end of the Duration.
