Elementalist Spell Specification

Class: Enchanter

1. Empathic Self-Cure

BTS: 0% (Co)  (Target and Caster must both be willing participants.  Target gets the opportunity to save.) 

ULT: 30 hours

Materials: the body of a living Person ("Target")

Actions: lay hands on, or otherwise touch, Target

Effect of Throw:

-4 to 5 Insanity

6 to 7 Increase Damage currently suffered by Caster by *3 to *2 in each HitLoc

8 to 10 No Effect

11 to 16 (T-8)/3 FRD HP Cured

³ 17 (T-2)/5 FRD HP Cured

Speed: s HP/sec    -s(s-1)/2

Notes:

  1. Transfers Damage from Caster to Target.
  2. Only cures Damage to Caster, not effects of Damage, but will stop bleeding if completely heals the wound which is bleeding.
  3. The Damage transfers to the same HitLoc Areas on Target as it had been taken on Caster.  Target takes all effects of the Damage as if he had suffered new wounds himself, and makes his own Co checks as required. 
  4. The Damage transfers at the Speed given by the Variable Parameter, starting in the second after Casting and provided that Caster and Target remain in physical contact, HP Cured given by T is not exceeded and Target has not died.  No concentration is necessary. Damage is transferred first from the HitLoc Areas in which Caster has taken the most Damage (by number of points Damage taken, not proportion of total he can take in that area), alternating once equal Damage remains in multiple HitLoc Areas.
  5. Caster may not state a maximum HP Cured, but may control the amount Transferred by removing his touch from Target.
  6. If Target changes his mind after Damage transfer has started, he does not get a st, and must break free of Caster's touch to halt the process.
  7. The Spell is not considered Evil by the Creeds of Good Gods, as the Target consents, but its use may be Evil.  The Spell should only be used by a Good Caster in emergencies (when no kinder alternative is available), the consent must be freely given and Target must not be unduly harmed, or credit may be lost by Caster.
