Notes:

  1. Targets a single living Being.
  2. If Target fails st, his /her In, Dx(M) & Mr are reduced.  Reduction is not cumulative with other reductions to those Chars, such as SP loss.
  3. Chars may not be reduced below 0.  Reducing them to 0 does not cause death, just stupidity / inability to think / amnesia.
  4. The DM may at his discretion require In, Dx(M) and/or Mr checks to be made if an affected Target attempts activities the DM considers may be beyond his/her reduced mental capabilities.
  5. The Chars reduction affects all System results using those Chars, e.g Spell Learning Levels (make a Mr check to see if a particular Spell is remembered to Cast it), ChMod/2 [In] & [Dx(M)] on Casting El'ist Spells, ChMod/2 [ Dx(M)] on Casting El'ist Spells and ChMods on applicable Th Activities.  The Caster must also succeed in an In and a Dx(M) check to decide to Cast a Spell and to work out which one.
  6. Does not stop Fighting.  But the DM may require In and/or Dx(M) checks to be made if the Combatant wishes to plot anything other than attacking the opponent's midpoint.
  7. Thievery may be unaffected to the extent the Activities plotted are instinctive for the Thief.
  8. The Spell has little discernible effect on Orcs or on most Monsters.
