A Paralised target loses control of his body, but retains control of his mind and senses. The Crawler does not gain control of the target's body. A Paralised target will freeze / float in place (with eyes open if they were when paralised), and become vulnerable to being killed by the Crawler or its pack, but be able to cast thought or reflex Spells.

Bite @ A = 10ML %, DAM = 2d4 + (ML-2)

Will attack with Tentacles, to Paralise their prey, and then feed on it with Bite.

  1. Immune to Paralisation.
  2. All have Water Breathing (salt or freshwater).
  3. Carrion Crawlers are scavengers, that will attack and consume or carry away any flesh that is dead or can be paralised.  They perform a useful function in cleaning up the Dungeons and Ocean floor.
  4. They lay their eggs in Paralised bodies or rotting corpses, which they carry away to their nests in hidden caves.  The hatched young (ML1) feed on the bodies or corpses until they reach ML2 and crawl off in search of other food.
