You are Princess of the local Sea-Folk colony, currently numbering 68. Your Prince, Dyrom the Merman (He is a 5th Level Elemental of LLYWELLA, True Name FREZHIM) rules 12 other Spirits, who dwell mostly in the Lagoon.
Dyrom is intolerably arrogant. Despite your status he refuses to treat you as an equal. You do not obey his purported "orders". You will not give him children as you do not trust him to listen to your wishes in their education, and he rejected out of hand your suggestion that you should educate them yourself.
Stranded on the Isle is one Decus, a powerful Air Elementalist who came and rescued his baby girl when Dyrom took her. The girl has now attained puberty and is required for the colony. You do not like the attitude Dyrom is taking over her, and would like her to be your maidservant so that you can supervise her breeding. However she is protected by her father's Air Elemental and servant. The latter is a failed experiment of LLYWELLA, whose ugliness repels you.
The Air Elemental has now caused a ship to be wrecked on the reef and spared but one boat from it. Dyrom and you allowed this, as the survivors could be useful for the colony. But they cannot go free on the Isle.

The Sea-Folk did not obtain Water Breathing as a race until ERALCH stole the hereditary ability from the House of Karma for LLYWELLA in the Year 1107.
