being the applicable Sense used in the Far-sensing effect.
BTS: 20% (applicable Ss), modified by T (DM to
roll secretly)
ULT: 25 hours
Materials: a severed eye / ear / finger / nose /
tongue (as applicable)
Actions: touch Material to the equivalent part of
own body, and then point it at Target
Effect of Throw:
-4 to 5 Insanity
6 to 7 Target Far-senses through Caster's applicable Sense for Duration
8 to 10 No Effect
11 to 26 BTS +5(T-10)%
³ 27 BTS +2(T+14)%
Duration: 15t min - t(t-1)/2
Range to Target on Casting: 10d ft -d(d-1)/2
Radius of Effect: 100r ft -(r-1)
Notes:
- Caster (only) can perceive what Target is currently perceiving with
the applicable Sense for the Duration until Target leaves the
Radius. The Caster may not perceive something the target is not
currently perceiving, but can turn his attention to things perceived by
the Target but not paid attention to by the Target.
- Heavy concentration
is required to Far-sense. The Caster can still sense with his own
same Sense, but is not concentrating on his own perceptions.
- Target must be a living Being who perceives using the applicable
Sense. The perception gained by the Caster is with the clarity
attained by the Target, including Thievish Observation attempts actually
made by the Target. E.g. when using Clairvoyance a human Caster
can use the innate Infravision of a dwarvish Target.
- A Target who fails a saving throw by ³ 50%
will be completely unaware of the saving throw or Far-sensing. A
Target who fails a saving throw by <50% will be unaware of the saving
throw, but may feel he is being watched in some way (make more sts at
the same BTS to determine, at DM's discretion). A Target who makes
his saving throw will be aware of having resisted a magical effect.
