Notes:

  1. Locks any door, window or other portal which has any stone or metal in portal or its frame.
  2. Portals may also be Held in the open position.  The target Portal is Held in its current state of closure (the Spell does not automatically close it).
  3. T gives a Thievish DL vs Open Doors and Knock Spells only.  Whether or not the portal is also locked with a key (vs Pick Locks) and/or barred is a separate matter, which will require separate Thievish opening.
  4. Multiple Hold Portal effects are not cumulative (apply the greatest DL), but Hold Portal effects are cumulative with the existing DL of the door.
  5. The Spell only locks the Portal shut.  If it is made of e.g. glass or wood it may still be hacked through as normal.
  6. Held Portals may be opened by shoulder-charging or battering rams with % chance success dependent on Strength = 5St-10DL%.  Battering rams allow multiple Beings to add their Sts at Ö (A2 + B2 + C2) for Sts of A, B & C etc.  Success may shatter the Portal.
