Elementalist Spell Specification
Class: Gravity
4. Reverse Gravity
BTS: n/a
ULT: 100 hours
Materials: a T-shaped object
Actions: hold Materials in the position of the
inverted T of CASPIS and rotate to required direction of Gravity
Effect of Throw:
3 to 12 Insanity
13 to 15 Gravity is reversed 180o for Caster only within 20 to
10 ft Radius
16 to 19 No Effect
³ 20 Radius =
(T-15) ft (may state Max.)
Duration: t min - t(t-1)/2
Range: 60d ft -d(d-1)/2
G Force: 1G -(G-1)2
Notes:
- Changes the normal direction of Gravity within Radius to one specified
by Caster. The direction is fixed on Casting and may not be
changed, but Caster may terminate the Spell effect by 1 sec's light
concentration.
- Beings within Radius do not get a st.
- Beings or objects leaving Radius
will immediately become subject to normal Gravity.
- If Cast in the open air with a 180o reversal of Gravity,
Beings and loose objects within Radius will fall to the top of the
Radius (a hemisphere if centred on the ground), where they will be
suspended between the opposing gravitational forces. If Cast in
the open air with an angled reversal of Gravity, Beings and
loose objects within Radius will fall to the edge of Radius, and then
sink along the edge to the ground.
- Reverse Gravity has no effect on a Being or object which has had the
normal force of Gravity upon it cancelled by a Gravity Spell or effects.
Subject to this, any vectors given by other Gravity Spells or effects are cumulative with
Reverse Gravity.
- Acceleration and deceleration is at the G Force determined by the Variable
Parameter (which is not cumulative with normal Gravity). For further explanation see
the General Notes to Gravity Spells.
