The Secret Isle lies in the South East of the Great Ocean, between the Southern Sea and the Sea of Sighs, and is separated from the mainland of the Southern Deserts by the Sea of LLYWELLA.

In many ways the Secret Isle is the idyllic tropical island.  The weather is nearly always excellent, and the rainy season brief.  Vegetation is lush, producing an ample supply of exotic fruits.  There is plenty of small animal life for meat.  Many clear streams provide sparkling fresh water.  There are miles of sandy beaches and the sea is warm.

But this is the territory of LLYWELLA, Goddess of Fishes.  So despite the countless numbers of beautiful fish, killing them is taboo.  And whilst Monsters are rare, strange and bizarre creatures lurk in the hills and glades.

The Camari, or Sea Folk, produced by a breeding programme of LLYWELLA and ERALCH, dwell in small colonies along the coasts.  The skies are ruled by Air Elementals, who keep away inquisitive mariners at LLYWELLA's bidding, by shrouding the approaches to the Isle in mist and blowing up storms to drive away the more persistent.  The map shows the hierarchy and domains of the Air Elementals in the Year 2500.
