Other Abilities / Powers / Notes:

  1. Giant Beavers are Rodent Monsters.
  2. They are generally shy and good-natured, but are fiercely territorial and will defend their dams, lodges and kits if they feel they are threatened.
  3. They can cause considerable damage to forests by their felling of trees for dams and lodges.  Because of their giant size they change the environment even more than their normal-sized Animal counterparts.  Their dams can be a significant obstacle to travel by boat, and they do not take kindly to the dams being breached.
  4. Beavers have their own Dreamworld, the Flooded Lands, which is visited by Animal and Giant Beavers alike and the few Beaver Shamen.  Its Sacred Heart, The Sleeping Pond, is a great still pond reflecting the Moon where 12 dams control 6 streams flowing in and out.  In its centre lies The Great Lodge, where sleeps THE GREAT BEAVER.
