Habitat: anywhere, but especially Southern Deserts and Dungeons.  Will not go out in LI >2.

ADS: 0 all over, but may wear Armour (unlikely to be full plate, but may wear an open-faced or pot steel helmet)

Invulnerability 2: invulnerable to non-magical attacks, silver attacks do half damage, vulnerable to magical attacks, other beings with Invulnerability 2 are vulnerable to it.  For further details see the Notes to the Elementalist Invulnerability Spell.

Other Abilities / Powers / Notes:

  1. See the General Notes on the Undead.
  2. Mummies retain the Senses (and NVR) of their bodies.  They have Detect Life as an innate ability (so Thievish hiding is useless against them).
  3. Undead hunger after life, and will attack living things, preferring those closest to their own species before being made Undead, and those with the highest At.
  4. Mummies are Fire Vulnerable (all Fire effects do them double damage, and all sts against Fire effects are automatically failed).  They may however be made Fire Resistant.
  5. They avoid Light (especially of LI >2), but are not stopped by it.
  6. Resistant to Nightmare and Madness.
  7. The Disease they cause is a rotting disease of Disease Level = UL.  The patient does not heal Damage as normal, but instead all Damaged areas rot at 1HP/Cd (General Damage also rots at 1HP/Cd), starting the Cd after infected.  Regeneration and Quickheal Spells and effects have no effect.  Healing / Curing Spells and effects have 1/6 effect (FRU).  Co decreases at 1 / Cd to a maximum reduction of Disease Level.  The patient's touch causes the Disease as per the Mummy @ BTS 30 + (5 * Disease Level)% (Co), or @ BTS 15 + (5 * Disease Level)% (Co) if using Weapons.
