The following additional Communes have been arranged by the PCs:

Additional KOROS questions

To be asked on the night of the 7th following meeting of the six, with answers expected before dawn on the 8th.  These are being framed with Decus XXI's knowledge.

  1. If the Chaos Imbalance could be stopped, would this also stop the Law Imbalance?

KOROS: Not necessarily.  If you push down the higher side of the Scales, the lower will rise.  But if you remove the contents of the higher, the lower will fall faster.

  1. Where is the Chaos Imbalance strongest?

Unlike the Law, Chaos tends to disperse rather than concentrate.  There is a greater incidence of Chaotic events in the more Chaotic lands, such as the Jungle in the Overworld or Hulmo in the Underworld.

  1. Is the Chaos Imbalance being created or promoted or pushed by any people as against just happening as a result of the Law Imbalance?

KOROS: Chaotic people are mostly welcoming and supporting the increased incidence of Chaotic events.  It is difficult to discern any pattern in this from the information available to Me.

  1. If the current Imbalances are allowed to continue, what will be the ultimate and final geographical boundary of Law and Chaos?

KOROS: The Law will subsume the whole of the World as you know it.

  1. How could the Growing Law in Valdran be Corrupted to stop it taking over the World?

ALTIS: A Third Empire should be proclaimed, restoring the Alliance with Evils under the First Empire, and the laws outlawing Chaotics should be repealed.  The Sun Diamond would also need to be Destroyed [- but be wary of paying too high a price to LOFIR or Her Minions for this][1].

  1. What is the focus of the Chaos that is expanding in the World outside Valdran?

ALTIS: Chaos does not have a focus.

  1. What way is there to stop the end of the World?

ALTIS: Destroy the Sun Diamond and mount a systematic attack upon SARAN and all Her supporters and works.

  1. Who could effectively and realistically work with the Valdrean Nobles to stop the Law and Chaos Imbalance threatening the world?

ALTIS: It is doubtful the Valdrean Noble Paladins of SARAN could work with anyone.  I recommend a revolution led by the non-SARAN worshipping Nobles, with the support of the Evils and Chaotics who have been driven underground in Valdrea.

  1. How could the Hate for Chaos of the House of Aven be turned against them to stop them destroying the World?

HAERIM: Kill the lot of them.

  1. What way is there to stop the end of the World?

HAERIM: Kill all Those who are behind it.

  1. What is the focus of the Chaos that is expanding in the world outside Valdran?

HAERIM: Don’t ask stupid questions.

  1. Who could effectively and realistically work with the Valdrean Nobles to stop the Law and Chaos Imbalance threatening the world?

HAERIM: I recommend the rebel Nobles in Valdrea seek the support of the Most Hateful Inquisition of HAERIM in Harrig in order to establish the Death Camps that will be necessary to liquidate the House of Aven and their supporters.

LOFIR

  1. How could the Sun Diamond be Destroyed before it damages the World?

LOFIR: It would need to be done quickly, before the thing gets any more powerful.  I will send WAGREN, Demigod of Annihilation, to Destroy the whole of the Sacred City, Imperial Palace and the Nobility within them, but We will need an invitation in writing from the Emperor, or from one of the rebel Champions who is making a coup d’état.  The invitation must include a binding commitment to restore the worship of LOFIR within the Empire.  If it is done this way, We should be able to minimise the risk of Divine Intervention in response.  Please note there is a Pact with AINI, Demon of Conspiracy, to protect My response to this Commune, and it should not therefore be shared with anyone other than trusted conspirators.

  1. How can the increased Chaos in the world outside Valdran be realistically opposed or destroyed?

LOFIR: By Destroying the Chaotics one at a time.

  1. What way is there to stop the end of the World?

LOFIR: Extreme measures are necessary.  I repeat My answer to your first Question.

  1. Who could effectively and realistically work with the Valdrean Nobles to stop the Law and Chaos Imbalance threatening the world?

LOFIR: Once the Sun Diamond is Destroyed and the worship of LOFIR is legalised, My worshippers will emerge from underground to assist.  The seat of power should be moved to the old Western Capital of Torel, where My supporters will be stronger.  The Bandit King can also be called upon to assist if a civil war breaks out, and a base in Torel will facilitate this.
