Appears like a beautiful angel riding on an infernal dragon, and
carrying a viper in Her right hand. She must not be permitted to approach
on account of Her stinking breath, and the Binder must defend his face with a
warding ring as specified in the Grimoire.
In Circle:
- Will answer up to three questions on matters of public history.
"Public history" is information that was known to, and could be readily
purchased from, rumourmongers in the locality of the Summoning at any time in
the past. Note that it is not necessarily what truly happened, and ASTAROTH
may give conflicting answers if conflicting accounts exist. "History"
does not include current events, the story of which has not yet concluded.
- Will advise on how to make one's own version of events that which becomes
history.
In Triangle:
- Will answer up to three questions on matters of lesser-known history.
"Lesser-known history" is information that was known to, and could be readily
purchased from, a rumourmonger in any public location in the Overworld or
Underworld at any time in the past. Note that it is not necessarily what truly
happened, and ASTAROTH may give conflicting answers if conflicting accounts
exist. Historical information that was or is known only to certain
Beings or written in certain books and not public knowledge is not within ASTAROTH's
Power to reveal.
- Pact: may be Bound not to reveal a particular matter of history, or
to reveal a particular matter of history which She has been paid less not to
reveal. Many Higher Powers have made such Pacts to protect Their
secrets. May not be Bound to give a false account, but if alternative
false stories are matters of history, will tell them instead if asked.

Talking birds, especially Ravens
- Can remember and recite all They hear, especially if it is history.
