Notes:

  1. Detect Poison gives a readout of PLs poisoning a Being, in a blade venom or poison bottle, on a weapon or in a monster's teeth, stinger or other poison-delivery mechanism.
  2. Light concentration is required to scan for Poison. It takes 6 sec to scan each selected Target Being or Object within the Radius.  Roll d100 for each Target scanned, applying the PL minus for the total PLs present.  If roll <= % Chance of Success, Detect succeeds.  Ratio Chance of Success if less time is taken, e.g. if Target enters Radius during scan.
  3. Success in scanning a Target which contains Poison or has been Poisoned gives the Poison Levels in or poisoning Target and the location of the Poison (e.g. in body, in backpack or in stinger).  It does not reveal the source of the Poison (e.g. that a blade venom is made from scorpion venom).
  4. The Spell does not confirm an absence of Poison.  A failed Success roll when there is Poison present and a scan of a Target which is not Poisoned both give no reading.
  5. Multiple attempts may be made to Detect Poison on the same Target within the Radius, whilst the Duration lasts.
  6. The Caster can move the Radius about using light concentration, provided that its centre does not exceed the Range (which is calculated from the Caster's current location from time to time).
