Harmony
Clerical God
An immaculately-dressed young man with long blond hair tied back in a ponytail, clean shaven and with a friendly smile. Wears white, usually trimmed with purple and gold.
When armed, wears a shiny open-faced plate helm and breastplate, and carries a sword and shield, with a longbow at His shoulder.
WACON, Demigod of Harmony, was promoted to Godhead out of the ashes of the Fall of Heaven and the Destruction of BUDIF, the former G/L God of Creation. It was the start of a time of great Discord, as open war had broken out between the Forces of Evil and of Good - a war that raged on through the following years.
Amidst such Discord, WACON is a force for Harmony. He seeks to unite the Forces of Good and of Law to work together for the common good. He opposes the Forces of Evil and Chaos that seek to undo all that is good in the World. He teaches that by working together, we are all stronger and we will all benefit.
He therefore continues the good work of BUDIF, in seeking to preserve, protect and improve the World of Anarea. But his emphasis is different. WACON is concerned with the process, whereas BUDIF focused on the result. For WACON, the end never justifies the means. One must live at all times in harmony with one's fellow Beings and with the World, and one can only do that by always doing what is right at every step of the way.
But like BUDIF before Him, WACON is ready to oppose those Who sow Discord and Disharmony, and will not hesitate to kill them if necessary for the greater good. WACON does not believe in the forcible conversion of His opponents, any more than did BUDIF. WACON therefore continued the Paladinic Military Order that fights for these principles.
WACON recognises and embraces diversity amongst Beings and in the World. His aim is that all should live in Harmony, not that all should be the same. He does not disapprove of ChaosMastery as such, but He does oppose those who seek to use it to promote Discord, and He recognises that it usually tends to do so. Likewise, He disapproves of those who willingly embrace Madness, although it is permissible to enter it in a controlled way to recover those who have become lost in it.
