Other Abilities / Powers / Notes:

  1. Giant Goats are at home in steep mountainous territory and can run and jump up precipitous slopes.
  2. Giant Goats have been bred and domesticated by the Dwarves and are used as mounts, war beasts and pack animals in the Mountains of the Dwarves.  They have Carrying Capacity 4000 wt pts.  If a Giant Goat is ridden, the weight of the rider and his possessions count towards Carrying Capacity.  Use the table in General Systems section 4.5 if a Giant Goat carries wt pts in excess of Carrying Capacity.
  3. Teams of Giant Goats are also used by the Dwarves to pull carts and war chariots.  Miners sometimes use them to pull carts on tramways.
  4. Undomesticated Giant Goats are fierce and will defend their territory.  They are stubborn creatures and it takes the patience of a Dwarf to domesticate them.
  5. Whole Severed Horns (Severed in a single blow), especially from high ML Giant Goats, may be used to make War Trumpets.
