  1. Scorpions, and especially Giant ones, are Sacred to SKARZ, E/N Demigod of Scorpions and Patron of Scorpion Cults.  Killing them incurs His severe displeasure.  Scorpion Cultists may ride Giant Scorpions (though occasionally these may in fact be Demons of SKARZ in Scorpion form).
  2. Some (8%) Giant Scorpions Regenerate @ (ML/5 FRU) HP/MR (spaced as evenly as possible), starting (15-ML) sec after first take Damage.  Only Fire, Acid or Disintegration will prevent Regeneration.  The body Regenerates from the largest surviving piece.
  3. Scorpion Venom causes a (Co-2) check vs Unconsciousness @ PL > SL/2 & Unconsciousness + a (Co-2) check vs Death @ PL > SL.
  4. The Venom can be milked from a dead or otherwise immobilised Giant Scorpion using Thievish Remove Traps at a DL of ML/5 FRU, Failure 2 or 3 resulting in 1 Damage & ML PLs, Success enables 1PL to be milked per 10% up to a maximum of ML.  Milked Venoms which have not been specially treated for preservation decay @ -1 PL / Cd.
