Other Abilities / Powers / Notes:

  1. Wild Pegasi are of a shy and elusive nature, even more than wild horses.  They will fly quickly away to avoid combat.
  2. Some were tamed by the Men of Heaven, and bred in captivity to be their steeds.  Most of these died in the Fall of Heaven 24 XIII 2500 (or were eaten by the Evils, whom they refused to let ride them, afterwards).  Following the recapture of Heaven 5 XIII 2503, the returning Men of Heaven are making efforts to tame new wild Pegasi as breeding stock for future mounts.
  3. Pegasi count as Medium Warhorses (except that they can fly and are Monsters rather than Animals).  They have carrying capacity 4250 wt pts, and take encumbrance penalties to movement (including to Flying movement) as stated in sections 4.5 & 4.6 of the General Systems.
