Appears in the form of a lion bestriding a strong horse.  He has a serpent's tail, and holds two enormous hissing snakes in His right hand.

In Circle:

  1. Will converse in general terms re the Otherworlds.
  2. Will reveal Mysteries of the Circles to Druids / Dreamers of the appropriate Level.
  3. Will answer 1 specific question re the Otherworlds.
  4. Will confirm where a specified Way or Link leads.
  5. Will Open a Way into a specified Otherworld.

In Triangle:

  1. Will reveal a Mystery of the Circles to those not of the appropriate Level.
  2. Will direct a Nature Spirit to teach a Participating Druid a Non-Standard Druidic Spell concerning Ways and Links.
  3. Will answer up to 3 specific questions re the Otherworlds / specified Ways or Links.
  4. Will Create a Hall of Mirrors / Waypoint in the Summoning Chamber, but will not specify where the Ways lead, except by use of another of His Favours.
  5. Pact: will answer up to 12 specific questions re the Otherworlds.
  6. Pact: will keep a secret re the Otherworlds or a specified Waypoint, Way or Link (unless offered a more valuable Pact).
  7. Pact: will establish a permanent Link which ORIAS agrees is appropriate.  Such Pacts do not necessarily require payment in money or souls.  ORIAS is more concerned to have a Contract as to the use and maintenance of the Link.  If this is broken, the Link will disappear.
  8. Pact: will give the Power to Walk a specified Otherworld.
  9. Pact: will give the Power of Intuition as to where a Way or Link leads.

Familiars: cats, horses or snakes, having the Power to Walk specified Otherworlds

Notes:

  1. The Otherworlds are the spiriritual realms of Dreams, Madness and Chaos.  They include the Animal and Tree Kingdoms.  They do not include the Ethereal or Astral Planes (though there may be Ethereal or Astral Otherworlds).
  2. The Otherworlds are mutable and Chaotic.  Being a Lawful Demon, ORIAS' Aspect is concerned with the structures binding and linking them to the Real Worlds.  He will tell of their present structure but will not be specific about their Chaotic aspects.
