Notes:

  1. Cast on a single Target Being.  Target must already be bleeding (e.g. from Damage or an Increase Bleeding Spells) for Spell to have effect.  Casting Spell on a Target before he has suffered a Bleeding effect does not protect him from a subsequent Bleeding effect, but if Stop Bleeding resolves in the same second as a Bleeding effect, then it will be effective against that Bleeding.
  2. Does not cure the Damage caused by Bleeding or the Damage which has resulted in the Bleeding (but does permanently reduce the Bleeding caused by that Damage, even if more Damage is taken in that Hit Loc Area).
  3. Spell hits Target automatically, but is subject to a Saving Throw, which negates the Spell completely.
  4. Bleeding is General Damage, though it occurs through an existing wound. If Target has multiple Bleeding wounds, the most serious is stopped first and any remaining reduction from the Spell is then applied to the next most serious, and so on.
  5. Bleeding occurs evenly through the MR: e.g. a 1HP/MR Bleeding causes 1HP initially, then 1HP in the same sec of each subsequent MR; a 6HP/MR Bleeding causes 1HP/sec.
  6. Stop Bleeding is cumulative with other Stop Bleeding Spells and Increase Bleeding Spells.
  7. Targets may also attempt to staunch the bloody flow. A hand over the wound stops 1HP/MR if kept in place constantly. A bandage stops 3HP/MR, and halves the remaining flow (FRD).
  8. Cauterization may also be attempted with a heated weapon, doing d4/2 Fire Damage (FRU) less any Fire Resistance to a Hit Loc Area (BTS 60% (Co)) and stopping the same amount of Bleeding/MR from that Hit Loc Area as the resulting Damage, whether or not the Damage is saved against.
