10t Quarrels appear and 1 disappears every MR, whether or not fired.
Duration expires after t min or when all Quarrels have disappeared.
Extension Spells create the appropriate no. of extra Quarrels.
Notes:
- Creates Magical Quarrels with the
Fire Through Walls Effect for a Light or
Heavy Crossbow (as specified by the variable parameter).
- As this is an Earth Spell, the Created Quarrels are made
of metal. It is not possible to create Arrows.
- The Created Quarrels appear in the Materials.
- The Created Quarrels may only be loaded and fired by the Caster.
They disappear if anyone else touches them. Fired Quarrels disappear
the second after hitting
an opponent.
- All the Quarrels may be dispelled by the Caster at will.
- Caster can fire the Quarrels through up to Penetration feet of earth /
rock / metal ore ("Walls") as if they were air. The Spell does not
allow the ADS effect of metal armour / shields to be avoided.
- Caster still takes normal Range effects from firing. Penetrated
Walls still count towards the Range.
- The Spell does not allow the Caster to see through Walls. He
will need an Earthsee or X-Ray Vision Effect to target accurately.
- The Spell allows an Earthwalking Caster to fire out of the Earth at
non-Earthwalking opponents or Earthwalking opponents to be fired at from
within or without the Earth. Earthwalking opponents are hit (and
ADS) as normal, unless they are creatures of earth / rock / metal ore
(e.g. Stone Golems, but not Stone Giants or Gargoyles).
- If the Caster misses his opponent, the Quarrel will carry on
travelling through up to Penetration feet of Walls, and will disappear
when it runs out of Penetration or Effective Range.
