Notes:

  1. Sandstorm Spell (Multi-Elemental Air & Earth): may be Cast as an Air or Earth Spell. If Caster has both an Air Elemental of Level >=3 and an Earth Elemental of Level >=3 Activated, they get +3 on Casting this Spell.
  2. Creates a Sandstorm which has Wind, Fog and General Damage Effects within Radius only.
  3.  The Caster and Companions can see through the Fog it were not there (though they can see it) and move about within the Sandstorm freely without taking any General Damage from it.  The Caster need not be at the centre of the Sandstorm, which may be located at up to the Range away from them on Casting.
  4. The Caster can move the Sandstorm to any point within the Range from their current location using light concentration.
  5. The Caster and Companions may leave and re-enter the Sandstorm without losing the ability to see through it as if it were not there, but they do not have that ability whilst outside the Radius.
  6. The Wind Effect has the effect described in the General Notes for Air Spells.  It is a spiralling tornado effect (Caster may specify direction of rotation as a no cost Variable Parameter , failing which it will be randomly selected).  Wind Speed is cumulative with the natural background Wind Speed and any other Wind Speed Effects, which are redirected within Radius into the tornado but do not increase General Damage or Level of Fog.
  7. The Fog Effect is resistant to the Wind Effect of the Sandstorm, but its Level is decreased by 1 per 10mph FRD of windspeed from Wind Effects other than the Sandstorm.  Multiple Fog Effects are cumulative in Fog Levels (up to a maximum of 10), but other Fog Effects do not increase the General Damage Effect and Caster and Companions only disregard the Levels of those Fogs they have Cast or which have Targeted them as Companions..
  8. The General Damage Effect causes any Being (other than the Caster and Companions) within the Sandstorm to make a st against the General Damage each second they are within it (reroll for all potential targets every sec).  A Being partially within the Sandstorm must save against an appropriate percentage of the Damage.  Making the st halves the damage taken (FRU: e.g. 5 is halved to 2), and a further st may then be made to halve it again. Once a st is failed, the Being takes the remaining Damage. The min ADS of any armour that covers the majority of the body subtracts from the damage taken.
