Follow is used to follow a Target Being through an urban environment.

Make periodic Throws: at least every 15 min, or on a change in crowd / environment.

T Effect
>= 71 Failure 3: Target lost
70 to 41 Failure 2: Target spots Follower following him
40 to 21 Failure 1: Target is aware he is being followed, but does not spot Follower.
<= 20 Can follow Target at up to (21-T) ft distance

If an attempt is made to follow a Target at > the distance permitted by T, add the distance attempted to T to give the appropriate Failure result.

T may be increased by attempts of the Target to Lose any Followers.  It is not necessary for the Target to have spotted a Follower or to have become aware he is being followed in order to make a Lose attempt.

Difficulty Levels:

  1. ThL of Defender (FRD to one decimal place: e.g for ThL 2.4 DL is 2.4, giving +24% to T)
  2. Following in daylight = DL 2
  3. Density of crowd on streets = DL 2 (crowded) to DL 0 (sufficient people about to give reasonable cover to Follower but not to obscure Target) to DL 5 (deserted)
  4. Amount of cover in environment = DL 0 (plenty of cover) to DL 5 (wide open square)
  5. Follower's home territory = DL -1
