Restricted HIDE Activities:


Hide in Shadows ("HS")

HIDE

Relevant Chars: Dx(Ph) - Sz (i.e. ChMod[Sz] subtracts from M; small is good)

Succeeds on: 10%

The effects of Hide in Shadows are purely visual. The effects table below is for Light Intensity I=0.

To Hide in Light: Subtract 25% from figures in Effects table per LI > 0
To Hide in Darkness: Add 25% per LI < 0

May Hide running / moving violently (e.g. making a thievish attack)

*When an action is attempted whilst hiding, Degrees of Failure (1 to 3) result if the Throw to Succeed that activity is not achieved.

Difficulty Levels:

1.    ThL of Observer (FRD to one decimal place: e.g for ThL 2.4 DL is 2.4, giving +24% to T)

The effects of Move Silently are purely auditory.

May state distance voice pitched to, and cannot be heard beyond that distance if successful. However, if a distance is stated, then Degrees of Failure (1 to 7) result if the Whisper has insufficient range (by Throw) to succeed (Failure starts above %age success bracket for distance voice pitched to).
