To use Stun, the Assassin must be undetected by and within striking distance of the Mark. Hide in Shadows and/or Move Silently are typically used to achieve this.
The Mark must not be dodging, so must either be sleeping / drugged, or the Assassin must have succeeded in an Attack from Behind / Attack from the Side / Attack by Surprise attempt against the Mark with a sufficient result to reduce D to <= 0 (using any bonus given to A to eliminate any D resulting from Magical effects or when using AbS.
Stun involves the use of the Assassin's fingers to render the Mark unconscious by pressing certain sensitive pressure points around the neck without leaving any trace on the body. It is typically used for kidnapping attempts or robbery.
