Scuttle at up to 20 ft/sec = 13.5 mph

Ethereal Drift at up to 30 ft/sec = 20 mph

Astral Drift at up to 40 ft/sec = 27 mph

So long as has done >0 DAM with a Leg (even if ADS'd by non-Plate armour), will then grip on to victim with its Claws, Causing Madness by its touch and doing further AMR with Claws @ A= 10ML%, DAM = 2d4 (1d4 per Leg) and Thought Eating @ -1 to In, Dx(M), Mr & Wp / sec following successful Pounce.  Thought Eating has the effects of the Feeblemind Spell on its victim (plus the Wp drain), but is permanent (though may be restored by Restoration Spells and Effects).  The Thought Eater does not gain the Chars eaten.  Legs must be Crippled or Severed to dislodge them.

  2. Planewalk between Real, Ethereal and Astral Planes at will (1 sec to make transition).
  3. Locate Mind within 120ft Radius without using concentration: BTS 20ML% (Wp).
  4. Seeing them Causes Madness @ BTS 25% (Wp).
  5. Touch Causes Madness @ BTS 50% (Wo): make a st every sec.
  6. Establishing Charm Link to them Causes Madness @ BTS 75% (Wp): make a st every sec.
  7. Madness caused is Domain of Despair.  There is no limit on the max Level of Madness they can cause.
  8. Immune to Madness.
  9. When have reduced Wp of a victim to 0, may Possess him, by transferring its mind to his body.  The Thought Eater body is then comatose, but may be transferred to the Ethereal or Astral Plane in the sec. of Possession (and most things do not mess with Thought Eaters, even stationary ones).  It has full control over the physical and mental faculties and memories of the Possessed victim. What is left of his mind is Charmer Dominated, and unable to fight back with a Charm Battle due to the loss of basic Wp.  The Thought Eater Posession may be Exorcised.
  10. May communicate telepathically with any Being with whom in mental contact (e.g. by Thought Eating, Charm Link or Possession).
