General Notes on Magic Rings:

  1. Most Rings are usable by anyone.  Rings that provide assistance with Spell Casting or Binding are usable only by the applicable Classes of Magic-User.
  2. A maximum of 2 Magic Rings may be effectively worn at the same time (one on each hand).  If more than one Magic Ring is worn on the same hand, the first put on is the effective one.  Beings with more than 2 hands may be able to use more Magic Rings.
  3. Magic Rings may not be effectively worn on appendages other than fingers (except that Beings without fingers may effectively wear up to 2 Magic Rings on their nearest equivalent appendages (e.g. tentacles)).
  4. Rings usually have an Encumbrance of 2 wt pts.
