Appears as a shadow of a Demonic figure, with its feet at
URIEL's actual location. He may therefore appear to be outside the
Pentangle, as His shadow is cast upon the wall of the Summoning Chamber.
But in fact He is invisible (having M 500% on Hide in Shadows) and it is only
His shadow that can be seen. He is often accompanied by Attendant
Shadows, which Whisper to
the Participants to fear Him, or to beware, as He is Loose (which is probably a
lie).
In Circle:
- Will answer the Operator's questions concerning His Spirit Servants known
as Shadows.
- Will answer the Operator's questions concerning deeds done and words
whispered in shadows (i.e. LI <= -1).
- Will teach a Celebrant the Hide in
Shadows Thievish Activity (does not give any bonus to M).
In Triangle:
- Will Summon any Shadow to obey the Operator as He would.
- Will serve the Operator anywhere within 1,000 miles for 1 hour. Will
offer longer service from His minions in substitution. Pacts may be required for major services.
- Will swear to keep secrets concerning deeds done and words
whispered in shadows (i.e. LI <= -1).
- Will reveal secrets concerning deeds done and words
whispered in shadows (i.e. LI <= -1) if paid more than was given to keep
them secret.
- Pact: Will provide the Operator with a LI -1 Darkness Item, a
Shadowman, or an Item giving
Protection against Shadows, or Summoning Shadows to serve the Summoner.
- Pact: Will permanently remove a Participant's shadow. For this He
will just take that shadow in payment. It is said (but never in shadows)
that He uses the shadows to create His
Shadow Spirits.
- Pact: Will restore a Participant's lost shadow. For this He will
require the Participant's soul. It is said (but never in shadows) that
He uses Hs souls to create His
Shadow Spirits.
